Scripture: You know in your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed. (Joshua 23:14)
Many years after leading the Israelites into the Promised Land, Joshua, now a very old man, reminded the people of how God fought on their behalf to drive out their enemies. "Remember...be strong....obey....hold fast....love the Lord your God," he commanded them. Not one of the promises God gave has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled. Remember?
Remember how you crossed the Jordan at flood stage, because the Lord cut off the water?
Remember how you broke through the walls of Jericho....uh, by marching around the city?
Remember when God fought for you, when you chose to hold your tongue in an unfair situation?
Remember when God provided, when it seemed mathematically impossible?
Remember how He rescued you from the dominion of darkness and brought you into the kingdom of the Son, in whom we have redemption?
Remember how faithful He has been. That is how faithful He will be today and tomorrow, especially in light of the struggles that you may be facing. Every promise has been fulfilled. Every promise will be fulfilled.
